Affirm

Affirm, our confirmation class, is designed for grades six thru ninth. The Affirm class spends the three years going over the different parts of the Bible, Martin Luther, and Grapple which is tackles todays issues in a Christian resopnse. Affirm class uses many teaching opportunities to connect with today’s kids. The use of skits, multimedia, and a well thought out curriculum makes the Bible relevant for today’s inquiring youth. The Affirm class meets once a week during the school year on Sunday mornings at 9:40 in the youth room. There is also evening meeting that are planned to involve the parents and the kids that happen periodically on Sundays that involve a potluck where the whole family is invited. Spark!

Spark is our Sunday School class for pre-k (age 3potty trained) – fifth grade. Spark is a comprehensive study geared towards the individual grade. It is an hour long class where the children learn lessons from the Bible. It takes place in-between the 8:30 and the 10:30 service and starts at 9:30 am. The children are introduced to the lesson of the week and then will have to opportunity to discuss, craft, role play or act out the lesson of the week. Spark runs from Late September until late May. It is a volunteer based system that has a predesigned curriculum. If you would like to help with this please talk to Pastor Lisa as she is the coordinator of Spark. We have open registration for Spark in Mid September. If you don’t make the registration time we still accept all children we just ask you to fill out a registration form (link for pastor Lisa and link for registration)

Youth Night Out (YNO)Youth Night In (YNI Game night)

Kyle has planned out many fun activities for the youth of St Andrew during the year. It might include Swimming at URI, Ice Skating at URI Boss Areana, Bowling, Movies, tubing, Six Flags, Haunted Hay Rides, Card night, board game night, Xbox Championship play off and more. It is a time for our youth to get together and enjoy some fun activites and give the parents a break too.

Sr. High Youth – A monthly youth group gathering happens through the church with activities ranging from Service projects, to camp outs, attending concerts, college tours. In addition, to various activities, this age group participates in an annual mission trip. See the Mission section.

Adult & Family Learning – Multiple adult learning opportunities are available during the week and on Sunday morning. These include an Alpha Marriage course, Book of Faith learning programs.
