We have many ways to volunteer on Sundays.
Welcome Team: Our Welcome team members are scheduled weekly to be in the foyer to help greet those who are new to St Andrew. Welcome bags are used as an opening to talk with those who are new to St Andrew. If you like to meet new people and chat this is the job for you. Tellers: Every Sunday behind the scenes there are people who stay and count the money and make the deposit for the offering. We are always glad to have people who want to help with this ministry and if you think this is for you please talk to Connie and John Donahue or email us at [email protected] to sign up to be on this vital team.
Communion Assistants: There are many who like to help with communion. Depending on the service you prefer depends what the job entails in prep. If you are interested in becoming a communion assistant please contact us at [email protected]
Coffee Hour: After every service there is that wonderful time in fellowship Hall where there are goodies, coffee and good conversation is taking place. This is done by folks who volunteer their time and talents in making after church a warm and inviting social hour. This wonderful team of folks find this a rewarding way to be a part of church life. Greeters: Nothing says welcome like having a smile greet you at the doors when you walk into the church. We always have room for those who would like to be involved and have a great smile or a warm heart. If you are interested in this please contact us at [email protected]
Ushers: Ushers stand every Sunday handing out the bulletin for the Service, this job is paired with the Greeters. So one Sunday you might be an Usher or a Greeter. If you are interested in this please contact us at [email protected]
Readers: If you love to stand up and read to a crowd this is the job for you. All it requires is a strong voice and courage. If you are interested in this please contact us at [email protected]
Adult Choir: Love to sing? We have Grace at the 8:30 service and Voices of Joy at the 10:30 service.
