Honduras Mission Partnership – We engage in a partnership with a small community in Yuscaran, Honduras. Through annual short-term (week long) mission trips we work with local community and church leaders in construction, health infrastructure and other church activities.
Faith in Action
Several times a year we as a community/congregation pool our collective gifts, time, abilities and go out into the South County community and change the standing of others in need. Weather it be re-roofing, painting, fixing, small home repair, singing at local Nursing homes, or collecting food and personal needs for your outreach, we show God in action to not only our members but those in our community in need. We are a congregation that may meet in a building, but does not stay in that building. We are engaging in the presence of God to all.
In 2013, we will host the Ocean State Workcamp, which will bring 400 High School youth to Charlestown for a week of rebuilding homes.
Youth Summer Mission Camp – Mission Camp is for our youth aged 14 and up to on a week long trip to an area east of the Mississippi in July where they will have an opportunity to give time to those in need. A caravan of cars, vans, trucks and a trailer filled with our youth and adult volunteers and lots of power tools, will go to a prearranged community with many other church groups. They will sleep in a local school, have fun, make new friends, Work hard of home repair projects for many needy families, sing, and learn more about themselves in one week than in a year of community based volunteering. Personal Needs Closet
We offer to the community an opportunity to come to our PNC once every other month (the other month at Christ Church Westerly) to restock in Daily living supplies i.e.; shampoo, soap, toilet paper, tooth paste and alike. The hours of the PNC are Wednesday 4pm – 5pm and Saturday 10 am – 11 am.

Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry supplies groceries to local residences in need of some basic food supplies. This is open Wednesday 4-5 pm and Saturday 10-11 am. Individuals can come once every other week to get some supplies. With more families that have lost jobs or finding it hard to make ends meet we have seen an increase in the amount of families that utilize our food pantry.
