Summer Camps
We host a variety of Summer Camps here at St Andrew.
Kindercamp: Each year we host 3 to 5 five year olds in a week of fun all to themselves. Their day starts at 9 am and runs until 1 pm. With help from our older youth and adult volunteers the kids have a fun four hours of crafts, bible stories, singing, and free play with other kids.
Beach Camp: This camp is designed for 6 to 9 grade youth who love to go to the beach with their friends. This camp starts at 10 am and ends at 3pm.
In our Beach Camp the youth have a morning of bible lessons, singing, games, crafts, and skits, and then they walk down to Blue Shutters beach for lunch, sunscreen and water fun. Typically on Wednesday of the week they go have a day on the river canoeing or kayaking.
Day Camp: This camp is designed for 1st grade to 5th grade with activities in mind. This camp starts at 9 am and ends at 3pm. This camp is our largest and is the last of our season! The children have their days filled with singing, bible lessons, crafts (lots of crafts), a daily afternoon activity that is fun to watch, free time with friends and they get to make some wacky interesting theme related snacks each day. With the end of this, our last camp, we have an end of Summer Camp BBQ on that Friday night where the Church supplies the Dogs and Burgers and the rest is pot luck. We end that BBQ with a power point presentation with pictures of all the summer camps, which the kids love to see.
St Andrew also hosts two camps that are off site

Mission Camp
Mission Camp is for our youth aged 14 and up to on a week long trip to an area east of the Mississippi in July where they will have an opportunity to give time to those in need. A caravan of cars, vans, trucks and a trailer filled with our youth and adult volunteers and lots of power tools, will go to a prearranged community with many other church groups. They will sleep in a local school, have fun, make new friends, Work hard of home repair projects for many needy families, sing, and learn more about themselves in one week than in a year of community based volunteering. In 2012 we will be going to Springfield MA in response to the need that was created buy the massive tornados that ripped through there in June 2011.
