Discipleship Teams

ASK Team

Cultivating a Culture of Generosity
The ASK Team helps grow discipleship at St. Andrew by encouraging people to use what God has given them: their gifts, their money and their time. The ASK team will invite participation, recruit volunteers and help people find their place at St. Andrew. They will also spearhead the annual giving program of the church with an emphasis on cultivating a culture of generosity.

THANK Team

Cultivating a Culture of Gratitude
The THANK Team helps identify ways to express thanks to those who give of themselves and of their resources to build up the community at St. Andrew. Their task is to cultivate a culture of gratitude by regularly giving thanks!

TELL Team

Cultivating a Culture of Joy on the Journey of Faith
The TELL Team helps the pastors and staff tell the story of our ministry together at St. Andrew. They use a variety of approaches to share personal stories of transformation, blessing, gratitude, etc.. The TELL Team also highlights the way our ministry together changes lives. This team helps cultivate a culture of joy on our shared journey of faith.

About the Discipleship Team

The discipleship team was formed by the church council to consider how we use all God has given us—money, time, skills—to love God and love our neighbors. We read the book by Charles Lane called Ask, Thank, Tell and are seeking to apply what we’ve learned to stewardship and giving at St. Andrew.
